The property was newly renovated with attentive staff. This hotel was set in a central area close enough to the Museum of Alcazar, Toledo old town, and near Zocodover. - We saw a historic stone gate, based around 10-15 minutes walk from the venue. - the staff was attentive and helpful. - the hostel's central location made it convenient to explore the city. - the property's recent renovation made for a comfortable stay.

The location was incredible, very close to sightseeings, the bus for the bus or train stations and the historic places. No reason to complain, I enjoyed this hotel and would stay there again.

Excellent experience. Most helpful and charming staff. Superb city centre location; No fuss but a very genuine welome and help.
Car access to drop off bags not clear that you need to enter resricted zone in city. Actually all you need to do is to go to the central parking, press the button by the bollards to enter the zone, ask for Hotel Imperio and the bollards let you through to a wonderful town.

Fantastic, helpful staff. Superb location close to main square and tourist streets. Nice cafe below. Hotel Imperio is a basic but comfortable hotel. If you are looking for only semi-luxury this isn't for you but if you want a clean and friendly place to spend a night or two in Toledo, it is. The price was very reasonable too.
For me this wasn't a problem but there is a late, late club/bar right on the doorstep and crowds of revellers can show hi-spirits until silly-o'clock.

The Hotel is a excellent location, the room and the bathroom were very clean.
I stayed for only one night during spring. The room couldn't offer a proper air circulation and it was a bit hot. Also the air-conditioner was out-of-service.

Very central location in Toledo, near Plaza Zocodover; friendly staff speak (at least some of them) english; low cost
The hotel is somewhat hard to find, and not near parking places.

The room was brand-new and spotless with comfortable bunk beds, which helped me have a good rest. the staff was especially helpful upon arrival and throughout my pleasant stay. - Its location - a 10-15 minute walk from a lively square, near a museum and a cathedral - was convenient.

The hotel is situated in the city centre, that is perfect, you can do everything walking!
In front of the hotel there is a disco, the first night a thursday we had a room on 3th floor, and the noise was manageable. The second night they changed our room to the first floor right across this disco, we didn't sleep at all that night!!! With the windows closed it seemed my bed was in the disco. When I complained the next morning the hotel staff said they couldn't help it :(

Hotel is just one block of the main square. There is a local bar/coffee shop around the corner (near/opp the pharmacy) that is cheaper and "less touristy" (aka filled w/ locals) than the cafeteria attached to hotel. There is also a local bakery and a small general store around the corner, and ofcourse the main square is filled w/ places to eat/drink etc. Fun bar/dance club across from the hotel as well. Staff are nice, the place is newly remodeled and clean. Town is small enough that you can walk everywhere. Bus avail from main square.
no internet, small room (but ok if all you plan on doing is sleeping there), little natural light in room (but it was quiet, did not face the street, I did not hear any noise from the bar/disco across the street that others have complained about), no elevator (not a big deal for me but thought you should know). Overall these are small issues.
